Des Moines, Iowa, (Feb. 24, 2026)- The No. 6 seed Missouri Valley College men’s basketball team traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, to play No. 3 seed Grand View (Iowa) in the quarterfinal round of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Postseason Championship, Tuesday evening. Missouri Valley tried to rally late, but fell by a final score of 65-60.

(Feb. 21, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s basketball teams hosted William Penn (Iowa) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon inside the Burns Athletic Complex for Senior Day. The women’s team closed its regular season with a 63-41 win, while the men’s team fell late, 88-82.

The Viking women's team built up a big lead in the first half, and finished out a 71-46 victory. The men's team held off the Wildcats late for a 64-61 win.

The women’s team pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 56-41 win in the Heart Game of the Week, presented by Olathe Chamber of Commerce. The men’s team fell by a final score of 77-72.
