Women's Wrestling Ranked No. 18, Six Individuals Nationally Ranked

Marshall, Mo., (Nov. 20, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College women's wrestling team remains in the NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, released Thursday.  Six individuals are ranked, including two in the top five in their respective weight classes.

The Vikings dropped two spots in the rankings, to No. 18 in this edition of the coaches' poll.  During the latest rating period the team competed at the Ottawa (Kan.) Open.  In duals, the Vikings defeated No. 17 St. Mary (Kan.), 24-23, and Graceland (Iowa), 39-4.

Missouri Valley is one of five teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference ranked in the coaches' poll. Grand View (Iowa) is No. 2, William Penn (Iowa) sits at No. 3, Central Methodist (Mo.) moved up to No. 12, affiliate member Dickinson State (N.D.) dropped to No. 20.  The Vikings go to Grand View for a dual, Jan. 15, and host Central Methodist in a dual, Jan. 20. 

 

Six Vikings are ranked in their respective weight classes.  Leading the team is No. 3 Sophomore Jasmina Immaeva (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) at 124 pounds, and No. 4 Senior Serenity De La Garza (McAllen, Texas) follows at 138 pounds.  The other ranked individuals include:

No. 20 Senior Sage Beltran (Honolulu, Hawaii) at 103 pounds.

No. 19 Sophomore Ashtyn Sagely (Broken Arrow, Okla.) at 117 pounds.

No. 15 Sophomore Isla Baeza (Orem, Utah) at 124 pounds.

No. 13 Senior Autumn Perez (Dodge City, Kan.) at 180 pounds.

 

Up next for the Viking women's wrestling team is the home Missouri Valley Open, Friday and Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex.  The country's largest collegiate women's wrestling tournament starts Friday at 9 a.m., and continues Saturday at 9 a.m.
