Women's Tennis Hosts NCAA DII Truman State

Marshall, Mo., (April 8, 2026)-  The Missouri Valley College women's tennis team hosted Truman (Mo.) State in matches at Indian Foothills Park.

 

Singles:

No. 1-Sophomore Kelia Liebenberg (Hartbeespoort, South Africa) lost to Dydney Dial, 1-6, 3-6.

No. 2-Sophomore Deborah Mhizha (Masvingo, Zimbabwe) defeated Nayana Malang, 6-4, 6-1.

No. 3-Freshman Adriana Barrios (Guatemala City, Guatemala) lost to Belle Daniels, 0-6, 0-6.

 

Doubles:

No. 1-Liebenberg/Mhizha lost to Finley LaForge/Mary Grace Seymour, 3-6.

 

Up next, the Viking tennis teams will host William Woods (Mo.) in matches, April 16 at 12 p.m., at Indian Foothills Park.
