Women's Lacrosse Falls to Benedictine at Home
Marshall, Mo., (Mar. 10, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College women's lacrosse team hosted Benedictine (Kan.) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match, Monday afternoon, inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium. The Vikings dropped its contest to the No. 5 Ravens.
Missouri Valley caused ten turnovers, won five draw controls and had two shots on goal. Freshman Audrey Connolly (Houston, Texas) made eight saves in goal, but the Vikings fell by a final score of 27-0.
The loss drops Missouri Valley to 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in the Heart, while Benedictine improves to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Up next, the women's lacrosse team will host Cornell College (Iowa), in a non-conference game Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m., inside Volney C. Ashford Stadium.
