Bio

Stephen Main took over as the Director of Golf Operations in the fall of 2023. Stephen came to Missouri Valley after a successful coaching career at Central Methodist (Mo.). Re-starting the golf programs at CMU in 2020, Stephen guided the men's team to a Heart championship in 2022, and the program's second appearance at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship. He also produced a Heart Player of the Year, and Heart Newcomer of the Year that season, along with being named the Heart Coach of the Year. On the women's side, Stephen produced a two-time Heart Player of the Year winner, and an individual appearance in the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship in 2021.

Stephen also spent time at Central Methodist as a graduate assistant for the women's soccer coaching staff, helping the program win multiple regular season and Heart postseason tournament titles, along with multiple National tournament appearances.

In addition to his role at Missouri Valley as the Director of Golf Operations, Stephen also serves as the Director of External Affairs.
