Women's Golf Competes at Heart Championship

Moravia, Iowa, (May 2, 2023)- The Missouri Valley College women's golf team competed at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa, Monday and Tuesday.

Leading the team was Senior Sandra Rodriguez (Almeria, Spain), who finished with a three-round score of +55 (271) to place at No. 30.  Her best round came on Tuesday, finishing with a +15 (87).  Freshman Madison Mills (Willard, Mo.) followed at No. 38 with a final score of +68 (284).

Missouri Valley did not post a team score.  The team championship was won by William Penn (Iowa), which shot a +118 (982) for the conference title.
