No. 10 Men's Wrestling Tops William Wood on the Road

Fulton, Mo., (Feb. 10, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's wrestling traveled to Fulton, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual doubleheader, Tuesday evening. The No. 10 women's team won nine of the ten weight classes, including three victories by pin to defeat William Woods (Mo.). The No. 10 men's team earned a 41-6 win against the Owls, taking eight of the contest weight classes.

Men's Results:

125 pounds: No. 14 Junior Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) defeated Kelly Brown in a 19-3 technical fall.  Missouri Valley leads, 5-0.

133 pounds:  Sophomore Easton DeMilia (Jefferson City, Mo.) defeated Emanuel Trotter in a first period (1:04) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 11-0.

141 pounds: No. 11 Sophomore Tuvshinjargal Zuunbayan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) defeated Kael Gleen in an 18-2 technical fall.  Missouri Valley leads, 16-0.

149 pounds: Junior Kristofer Arrey (Riverside, Calif.) defeated Michael Moore-Fondren in a 16-0 technical fall.  Missouri Valley leads, 21-0.

157 pounds: Junior Lloyd Epperson (Comanche, Okla.) defeated Whit Nichols in a 23-8 technical fall.  Missouri Valley leads, 26-0.

165 pounds: Sophomore Brayden Shelton (Centralia, Mo.) defeated No. 18 Alexander Sederburg in a 10-2 major decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 30-0.

174 pounds: Sophomore Braelen Toles (Reno, Nev.) lost to Elijah Brocksmith in a 9-5 decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 30-3.

184 pounds: Freshman Luke Sarich (Weiser, Idaho) lost to No. 13 Austen Wetzel in a 10-5 decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 30-6.

197 pounds: Junior Emmanuel Ayi-Bonte (Woodbridge, Va.) defeated Dominic Mullin in a second period (3:49) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 35-0.  The Vikings had its team points reduced by one due to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

285 pounds: William Woods left the weight class open.  No. 10 Senior Randy Gonzalez (Lakewood, Calif.) won by forfeit. 

Missouri Valley defeated William Woods 41-6.  

The Vikings improve to 16-3 on the season in duals, while William Woods drops to 6-8 in duals.

Up next, the women's wrestling team will host Missouri Baptist for Senior Night in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual, tomorrow, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., inside Burns Athletic Complex.  The men's team travels to Oskaloosa, Iowa to compete at the Heart Championship, Feb. 20-21.
