No. 10 Men's Wrestling Beats Missouri Baptist in Road Dual

St. Louis, Mo., (Jan. 29, 2026)- The No. 10 Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team traveled to St. Louis, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual against Missouri Baptist, Thursday evening.  The Vikings earned four victories by pin and finished with a 36-15 win in the dual.

125 pounds: No. 14 Junior Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) won by forfeit.  Missouri Valley leads, 6-0.

133 pounds: No. 11 Sophomore Tuvshinjargal Zuunbayan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) defeated Sam Blackmon in a first period (2:52) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 12-0.

141 pounds: Junior Blaine Ortiz (Pineville, Mo.) lost to No. 16 Daryl Mills in an 11-0 major decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 12-4.

149 pounds: No. 15 Junior Kristofer Arrey (Riverside, Calif.) lost to Jacob Sinn in a second period (4:39) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 12-10.

157 pounds: No. 19 Senior Francis Morrissey (Warner Robins, Ga.) defeated No. 16 Brandon Bollinger in a 7-3 decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 15-10.

165 pounds: No. 13 Senior Dayton Hill (Broken Arrow, Okla.) defeated Joel Campbell in a 6-4 decision.  Missouri Valley leads, 18-10.

174 pounds: Sophomore Braelen Toles (Reno, Nev.) defeated Hunter Song in a second period (4:30) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 24-10.

184 pounds: Freshman Luke Sarich (Weiser, Idaho) lost to Blake Johnson in a 15-0 technical fall.  Missouri Valley leads, 24-15.

197 pounds: Junior Emmanuel Ayi-Bonte (Woodbridge, Va.)) defeated Braeden Stotts in a first period (2:34) pin.  Missouri Valley leads, 30-15.

285 pounds: Junior Abe Preston (Wetumpka, Ala.) defeated Amad Soufi in a third period (6:56) pin.

Missouri Valley defeated Missouri Baptist, 36-15.

Missouri Valley improves to 14-3 on the season.  Missouri Baptist drops to 5-4.

Up next, the Viking men's wrestling team will host No. 15 Central Methodist (Mo.) in a Heart dual, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m., inside the Burns Athletic Complex.
