Men's Tennis Sweeps Past William Jewell in Road Matches
Liberty, Mo., (March 27, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's tennis team traveled to Liberty, Mo., for Friday afternoon matches against NCAA Division II William Jewell (Mo.). The Vikings did not drop a set and swept the competition, winning 7-0 in matches.

No. 1-Senior Alexander Ballinger (Northampton, England) defeated Wout Bleus, 6-3, 6-3.
No. 2-Sophomore Guilherme Silva (Torres Novas, Portugal) defeated Ian Lewis, 6-4, 6-4.
No. 3-Junior Bogdan Zakharov (Kokshetau, Kazakhstan) defeated Kyle King, 6-2, 6-2.
No. 4-Junior David Schlageter (Meerbusch, Germany) defeated Patrick Terry, 6-4, 6-0.
No. 5-Sophomore Felix Ortola (Madrid, Spain) defeated Jace Walker, 6-1, 6-0.
No. 6-Sophomore Vicente Leigh (Santiago, Chile) defeated Tristan DePeralta, 6-1, 6-0.
Doubles:
No. 1-Ballinger/Silva defeated Bleus/King, 6-3.
No. 2-Zakharov/Schlageter defeated Lewis/Terry, 7-6.
No. 3-Ortola/Leigh defeated Walker/Deperalta, 6-0
Missouri Valley improves to 4-6 on the season.
