Missouri Valley To Host Men's Soccer Opening Rounds

Marshall, Mo., (April 14, 2021)- Missouri Valley College has been selected as one of ten host sites for the opening rounds of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship. Volney C. Ashford Stadium will be the site for opening round games April 22 and 24.

Missouri Valley will host the four-team Marshall (Mo.) Bracket, the NAIA announced Wednesday. This is the ninth time in the past ten seasons that Missouri Valley has hosted opening round games in the men's soccer National tournament. Games will be played April 22 at 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. The winners of those games will meet in the Marshall Bracket final, April 24 at 2 p.m. The four-team bracket will be announced by the NAIA Monday.

The Marshall Bracket winner, along with winners of the nine other opening round brackets, will advance to the National championship site, at Blanchard Woods Park in Columbia County, Ga., north of Augusta, Ga. The National site schedule runs May 4-10.
