Men's Soccer Moves Up in Latest Coaches' Poll

Marshall, Mo., (March 31, 2021)- The Missouri Valley College men's soccer team improved its National ranking in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday.

The Viking men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 4 in the National rankings. Since the previous coaches' poll was released two weeks ago, the men's soccer team earned a 2-1 win at home over Concordia (Neb.). The win moved Missouri Valley to 12-3-1 overall in the regular season.

Two other programs from the Heart of America Athletic Conference are ranked in this edition of the coaches' poll. Central Methodist (Mo.) remained at No. 1, and MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) moved up to No. 21.

Up next, the Viking men's soccer team will host Park (Mo.) in the quarterfinal round of the Heart Postseason Championship, April 10, at Volney C. Ashford Stadium. Missouri Valley defeated Park in the regular season meeting, 2-0, at home back on Oct. 3.
