Rodeo Teams Compete Wednesday in Third Go-Rounds at CNFR

Marshall, Mo., (June 18, 2025)- The Missouri Valley College men's and women's rodeo teams continued third go-round competition at the 2025 College National Finals Rodeo, in Casper, Wyo., Wednesday evening.  Four Vikings competed during Wednesday's session.

 

In bareback riding, Junior Bryce Eck (Redfield, Kan.) completed his third go-round during Tuesday's session.  Eck finished with an 80.5 and currently leads the go-round with two more nights of performances.  Eck has a 231 in the average and is fifth in the standings.  Wednesday, Freshman Collin Roland (Fayetteville, Ala.) competed, but was awarded a re-ride, and will perform again this week in the third go-round.

 

In saddle bronc riding, Eck had a no score in his third go-round, and is currently No. 14 in the event standings with a 76.0 in the average.  One other Viking cowboy competed Wednesday evening, as Sophomore Connor Ball (Bruner, Mo.) finished with a 4.5 and currently sits third in the third go-round.  Ball has an 8.9 in the average, and is ninth in the standings.

 

On the women's side, Freshman Codie Vaughan (Searcy, Ark.) went in breakaway roping, and finished with a 12.3, and currently sits at No. 17 in the third go-round.  Vaughan is also No. 17 in the average with a 24.4.

 

Third go-rounds continue through Friday.  The short-round takes place Saturday.  The 2025 CNFR is in Casper, Wyo., with third go-rounds and the short go-round starting at 7 p.m. (8 p.m., Central) each evening.  Two Vikings compete in Thursday's session.  Freshman Treg Huver (Nashville, Mich.) will go in saddle bronc riding and Sophomore Addie Williams (Harrisburg, Ark.) competes in breakaway roping.
