Three Rodeo Performances Thursday At CNFR
Casper, Wyo., (June 13, 2024)- The Missouri Valley College men's rodeo team continued competition at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo., Wednesday evening, with three third go-round performances.
Competing in the third go-round of saddle bronc riding was Senior Tyler Freeman (Cadiz, Ky.), who finished with 69 in his performance and sits at No. 11 in the third go-round standings. Freeman has a 140.5 in the average, which includes a no score in the first go-round and a 71.5 in the second go-round. He is No. 16 in the event standings.
Senior Ty Pope (Waverly, Kan.) also competed in the third go-round of saddle bronc riding. Pope posted a no score in his performance. He sits with a 75 in the average, which includes a no score in the first go-round and a 75 in the second go-round. Pope is No. 23 in the event standings.
The pair of Senior Easton Kerby (Lancaster, Iowa) and Senior Nathan Pelke (Mondovi, Wisc.) both competed in the third go-round of team roping. The pair earned a no score in the go-round, and posted no scores in the first two performances earlier this week.
Up next, is the final third go-round performance, Friday evening, as Pope competes in bareback riding. Pope currently has a 159.5 in the average, posting an 80 and a 79.5 in the first two go-rounds. He currently sits 82.5 back of the leader in the event standings going into Friday's performance.
Friday's third go-rounds will start at 7 p.m., in Casper, Wyo., (8 p.m., Central time).
