Men's Lacrosse Opens Season with Loss at Midland
Fremont, Neb., (Feb. 28, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team traveled to Fremont, Neb. for a non-conference match against Midland (Neb.), Saturday afternoon. The Vikings dropped the contest to the Warriors.
Freshman Attacker Kael Pierquet (Sobieski, Wisc.) finished with two shots, while Freshman Defender Jacob Susa (Suamico, Wisc.) and Freshman Defender Preston Nicholson (Lee's Summit, Mo.) had one shot each. Freshman Goalkeeper Branden Brewer (Renton, Wash.) made 23 saves in goal. Missouri Valley forced 15 turnovers and came up with 14 ground balls. The Vikings fell by a final score of 19-0.
Missouri Valley drops to 1-0 on the season, while Midland moves to 1-2 overall.
Up next, the men's lacrosse team will travel to Atchison, Kan., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference match against Benedictine (Kan.), Tuesday at 4 p.m.
