Coach Bobby Collins III is in his third season as a member with the Missouri Valley College Men’s Basketball team and his 9th year in total with the program. Collins spent four years as a player and was introduced to the coaching staff in 2019. As a MVC graduate assistant, Collins coaches and oversees the varsity reserve program.

Collins is a native of St.Louis, Missouri attending Chaminade College Preparatory before coming to Missouri Valley College in 2015. While at Missouri Valley, Collins received his bachelor’s in Mass Communication and went on to complete his Master in Communication at the University of Central Missouri..

As a player at Missouri Valley College, Collins was a 4 year letterman and amassed over 500 career rebounds ranking him 4th all time in the program as well as being ranked in the top 10 in career steals. Collins competed in 3 conference tournaments making it to the conference semifinal in 2016. Collins was named to two NAIA academic All-American. Collins also teaches in the Mass Communication department at Missouri Valley.
