Dance Team Places Fifth in the Heart Championship
Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 18, 2023)- The Missouri Valley College dance team hosted the 2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship, Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The Vikings dance team finished fifth in the conference standings with an overall score of 79.95.
In the preliminary round of competition, the Vikings finished fifth with a score of 77.20. The dance team improved on their score in the final round of performances, and earned an 80.87 to finish with an overall score of 79.95 to place fifth in the standings. Baker (Kan.) took first place with a final score of 89.48. Second was Grand View (Iowa) with a score of 87.84.
