Cheer Team in Top Ten After Preliminary Performance at National Championship

Topeka, Kan., (March 27, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College cheer team competed in the preliminary round of the 2026 NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship in Tokepa, Kan., Friday.  The Vikings are in the top ten after preliminary performances. 

Missouri Valley finished with a score of 86.05 in its preliminary round performance.  The Vikings sit seventh in the standings going into Saturday's final performances.

2026 NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship Preliminary Round Scores:

  10.  Baker (Kan.)- 83.23

  11.  Saint Mary (Kan.)- 82.98

  12.  Taylor (Ind.)- 82.52

Missouri Valley will perform in the final round of competition, Saturday.  The cheer final performance will begin at 10 a.m., and the Vikings will perform at 11:20 a.m.
