STUNT Team Opens Season With Competitions in Springfield

Springfield, Mo., (Feb. 7, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College STUNT team opened its season with four competitions in Springfield, Mo., Friday and Saturday.

 

In the opening contest against Missouri State, Friday, the Vikings trailed at the end of the second quarter by a score of 9-3.  Missouri State pulled away in the final two quarters, outscoring MVC by a 15-2 margin.  The Vikings fell by a final score of 24-5.

 

The team followed with a matchup against Drury (Mo.), Friday evening, and trailed by an 8-3 score following the first two quarters.  The Vikings added another seven points in the third and fourth quarters combined, but eventually fell by a 24-10 final.

 

The Vikings continued competition in Springfield, Mo., Saturday.  The team opened with a loss to Drury, by a final score of 25-5.  In the final matchup of the weekend, the team dropped its contest against Central Arkansas, 27-11.

 

Missouri Valley moves to 0-4 on the STUNT season.

 

Up next, the Viking STUNT team will compete in Fayette, Mo., Feb. 22, against Drury and Central Methodist (Mo.).
