Men's Volleyball Finishes Season Ranked in Top Five of Final Coaches' Poll
Marshall, Mo., (May 6, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's volleyball team finishes its season ranked in the top five in the final edition of the NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Postseason Poll, released Wednesday.
Missouri Valley moved up one spot from the previous coaches' poll, to No. 4 in the rankings, following the team's semifinal appearance at the 2026 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship last week. The Vikings swept No. 9 Indiana Tech, and No. 8 Campbellsville (Ky.) during pool play, and advanced to the semifinals. The Vikings fell to No. 1 Park (Mo.) in three games in the semifinal round.
A total of five teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference end the season Nationally ranked. Park (Mo.) stayed at No. 1, Mount Mercy (Iowa) fell to No. 5, William Penn (Iowa) jumped to No. 7, and Grand View (Iowa) dropped to No. 13.
The Vikings finished their season with a 25-6 overall record, and a 15-4 record in the Heart in the first season under Head Coach Leonardo Bilitardo. Missouri Valley made the program's third appearance at the NAIA National Tournament, and advanced to the semifinals for the second-straight season.
