Cheerleader Earns Weekly Heart Award

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 23, 2026)- A Missouri Valley College cheerleader has earned a weekly award from the Heart of America Athletic Conference for performances over the weekend. 

Senior Kloee Mills (Oak Grove, Mo.) has been named the Heart Cheerleader of the Week, leading the Vikings to scores of 86.82 and 84.43 last week at the Columbia (Mo.) Cougar Classic.

Mills earned her second weekly Heart Award, and this is the first weekly award for a member of the Vikings cheer team this season.  This award was last won by Mills back on February 10, 2025.

Missouri Valley entered the weekend ranked tenth in the national standings with an average score of 87.10 points in competitions this season.

Up next, the competitive cheer team will compete at the Spartan Showcase in St. Louis, Mo., March 7.
