Men's Wrestling Keeps Top Ten National Ranking
Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 11, 2026)- The Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team remained in the top ten of the latest NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday. Nine individuals are ranked in their respective weight classes.
The men's wrestling team stayed at the No. 10 spot for the second-straight rankings release. The team went 3-0 in duals, with wins over Missouri Baptist, Central Methodist (Mo.) and William Woods (Mo.), along with hosting the Missouri Valley Open during the latest ratings period.
Missouri Valley is one of three teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference ranked in the coaches' poll. Grand View (Iowa) moved up to No. 1 and Central Methodist (Mo.) stayed at No. 15. The Vikings defeated Central Methodist in a dual last week, and fell to Grand View in a road dual last month. The team finished the season with a 16-3 record in duals.
A total of nine individuals from the team are ranked in their respective weight. Leading the team is No. 3 Elijah Hynes (Broken Arrow, Calif.) at 197 pounds. The other eight ranked individuals include:
No. 4 Junior Haden Hernandez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) at 125 pounds
No. 14 Junior Robert Albert (Cape Coral, Fla.) at 125 pounds.
No. 9 Sophomore Tuvshinjargal Zuunbayan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) at 133 pounds.
No. 23 Freshman Aiden Serrano (Indianola, Iowa) at 133 pounds.
No. 20 Junior Kristofer Arrey (Riverside, Calif.) at 149 pounds.
No. 14 Senior Francis Morrissey (Warner Robins, Ga.) at 157 pounds.
No. 15 Senior Dayton Hill (Broken Arrow, Okla.) at 165 pounds.
No. 8 Senior Randy Gonzalez (Lakewood, Colo.) at 285 pounds.
The season continues with the Heart Championship, Feb. 20-21, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
