Football Announces 2026 Signing Day Class

Marshall, Mo., (Feb. 4, 2026)- Missouri Valley College football Head Coach LaQuentin Black announces the 2026 Signing Day Class, Wednesday.

This year's signing class features 98 signees from 16 different states.  The state of Missouri produced the most signees in this year's class with a total of 46 student-athletes, followed by 13 from Texas and nine signees from California.

"I'm proud of our staff and the way they attacked recruiting this offseason," said Black.  "We have a mixture of mid-year enrollees and incoming student-athletes for the fall.  We truly wanted to focus on making sure we brought in guys that fit who we are as a program and where we plan to go, which is done by getting the right people on the bus."

"We really wanted to get back to having genuine relationships and true player development on and off the field," continued Black.   "Focusing on high-character guys with a blue-collar edge about them, and so far we feel like we have solidified some of those guys.  As there are still pieces to the puzzle we will add potentially later.  We feel we are off to a good start with our initial class of 2026."

The 2025 season was the first under Head Coach LaQuentin Black and produced four selections to the Heart of America Athletic Conference All-South Division Team and eight NAIA Scholar Athletes.
